By engaging our private chef services, you acknowledge that all food is prepared in a domestic kitchen environment in which possible allergens may have been present.
In accordance with relevant food and safety standards, all reasonable care is taken in food handling, preparation, and hygiene. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee a completely allergen-free environment.
Our services are provided for private events only and are not conducted from a commercial kitchen. Nothing in this disclaimer is intended to exclude, restrict, or modify any consumer guarantees or rights available under the Australian Consumer Law.
Terms & Conditions
Bookings & Payment
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm all bookings.
The remaining balance must be paid within 48hrs prior to the event date, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
All prices are quoted in Australian Dollars (AUD) including GST
Cancellations
Cancellations may be made up to 10 days prior to the confirmed date.
The deposit will not be refunded if cancellation is made within 10 days of confirmed date.
We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule an event in exceptional circumstances including but not limited to, illness or unsafe working conditions. In such cases, all payments made will be refunded or the booking rescheduled by mutual agreement.
Guest Numbers & Additional Charges
Final guest numbers must be confirmed by at least seven days prior to the booking
The price as agreed may not be reduced, if notice of fewer guests is given within 7 days of the booking.
Extra guests may be possible and if so will be charged at the per person event rate.
Allergies & Dietary Requirements
All dietary requirements and allergies must be disclosed in writing prior to the event.
While reasonable care is taken to accommodate dietary needs, we cannot guarantee the absence of trace allergens.
Venue & Access
The host is responsible for providing a safe, clean, and functional kitchen space, including access to power, water, and essential cooking equipment.
Any delays or limitations caused by inadequate facilities may affect service delivery.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we will not be held liable for any loss, damage, or injury arising at the event venue that is not due to our negligence.
The host is responsible for the conduct and safety of their guests throughout the event.
Leftover Food
Leftover food may be left with the host at their request. On leaving the food, responsibility for storage, handling, and consumption transfers to the host.
